Spanish giants Real Madrid have emerged as the top earners at the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, having already amassed $86 million after reaching the semi-finals of the tournament in the United States.

Their 3-2 quarterfinal victory over Borussia Dortmund set up a blockbuster semi-final clash with European champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Wednesday and placed Los Blancos at the top of the tournament’s prize money rankings.

Real Madrid Outpace Rivals in Prize Money

Real Madrid’s current earnings are $7.5 million more than PSG, who sit second with $78.5 million. Brazilian side Fluminense ranks third with $61 million, followed by Chelsea ($59 million) and Bayern Munich ($57 million).

Total earnings distributed so far in the expanded tournament have exceeded $560 million, making it one of the most lucrative competitions in world football.

Real Madrid Eye Record Prize Money

Should Real Madrid defeat PSG in the semi-finals, they will earn an additional $30 million, taking their total to $117 million. A win in the final would add a further $40 million bonus, boosting their potential maximum haul to a staggering $157 million.

PSG, on the other hand, would climb to $108 million with a win over Real Madrid and could finish with $148 million if they go on to lift the trophy.
