Former WBA champion Amir Khan has apologised to two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua for his past accusations that Joshua had an affair with his wife.
The comments, made in a series of social media posts in 2017, created a bitter feud between the two boxers and caused a public firestorm.

Khan, now 38, admits the allegations were a mistake and a result of a “silly” overreaction. “It was all just a mistake, and it was all just rubbish, really,” Khan told Brilla Sport. “There was nothing true there.”
Reflecting on the incident, Khan acknowledged the damage he caused to Joshua’s reputation.
“It was a bit silly that I threw him under the bus over a message which wasn’t really him,” he said.
“He was just coming up in the ranks then as well, and, really, it was a bit sad that I did that at the time. So, I take full blame for that little issue.”
Despite the public fallout, the two have since reconciled and are now on good terms.
Khan noted that the reconciliation happened in person at an event he hosted in Ghana, where they were able to talk and spend time together.
“We speak to each other on the phone here and there,” he said. “We have a very professional relationship now, and we keep it good.”
