Peter Crouch scored twice as Liverpool Legends’ beat Chelsea Legends 2-0 at Anfield.

The ex-Liverpool striker opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a brilliant header from Florent Sinama-Pongolle’s cross.

The former England international then pulled out his famous robot celebration in front of The Kop.

“So many kids on the way here were like, ‘Can you do the robot?’ I’d rather have not, to be honest, but it was for the kids,” Crouch said after his goal celebration

The 44-year-old grabbed his second 11 minutes later as he produced a clever lobbed finish.

A crowd of nearly 60,000 were in attendance at Anfield, with all funds raised going to the LFC Foundation, as well as other beneficiaries.

Liverpool Legends were managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia and Dirk Kuyt on the pitch.
