Ademola Lookman has wiped all Atalanta posts from his social media accounts following the club’s rejection of Inter Milan’s latest €45 million bid for the Nigerian winger.
The reigning African Player of the Year has already agreed personal terms with Inter and is keen on a move to the San Siro, but Atalanta continue to stand firm on their €50 million valuation.

Inter’s second bid, €42 million plus €3 million in bonuses, was officially turned down by Atalanta on Friday.
Frustrated by the breakdown in negotiations, Lookman has removed all references to Atalanta from his Instagram profile. His bio now simply reads “Football player for Nigeria,” with no mention of Atalanta Football Club.
He also deleted his profile photo and all images of himself in Atalanta colours, sending a strong message about his dissatisfaction with the stalled transfer.
Inter initially offered €40 million for the 27-year-old forward before increasing their proposal to €45 million. However, Atalanta’s management made it clear through a formal response that the offer remains below their valuation.
Lookman’s future now hangs in the balance as Inter weigh their options. While the club remain interested in pushing for a deal, they are also reportedly considering Chelsea’s out-of-favour attacker Christopher Nkunku as an alternative.
Whether Inter will return with an improved offer remains uncertain, but Lookman’s social media purge has intensified speculation that he is determined to force a move away from Atalanta this summer.
