Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has said that the Solution Fun City in Awka, the State Capital, will boost the entertainment industry and enhancing community engagement by creating economic opportunities for residents of the State.
Governor Soludo, while declaring open the Solution Fun City at the weekend for commercial use and other recreational purposes, affirmed the State’s commitment to promoting creativity and innovation as basic components of its developmental agenda.
Recall that the Solution Fun City, a part of legacy projects built by Governor Soludo, was inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu during a one-day official visit to Anambra on May 8, 2025.
“After the formal commissioning by President Bola Tinubu, the Fun City is now officially open for business for people of all ages.
“With the launch of Solution Fun City which has a water park, leisure park and a world class country club, Anambra State is poised to establish itself further as a leading destination for arts and entertainment in Nigeria, creating lasting memories for visitors and residents alike,” the governor stated.
Shortly, the governor’s speech, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known by his stage name as “Flavour”, known for his fusion of traditional and contemporary Nigerian music, took the centre stage with captivating performances that had the audience singing along and dancing.
His energetic set was complemented by a lineup of other talented artists, showcasing the rich cultural prowess of Anambra’s creative scene, as the likes of Umu Obiligbo, Jennifer Eliogu, MC Ezegetive, among others, also performed.
A diverse crowd of dignitaries, while thrilled with the rich cultural music of the State, also witnessed the state-of-the-art facilities aimed at boosting tourism and providing a recreational hub for ndị Anambra.
Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Deputy Governor; Somtochukwu Udeze, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Emeka Offor, Business Mogul; top Nollywood actors and actresses, among others, graced the occasion.
