Schneider Electric has unveiled a digital platform that seeks to help companies decarbonise their supply chains and meet their climate goals, especially scope 3 emissions reduction targets.
The new Zeigo Hub enables companies to engage with suppliers of all sizes, view supplier participation, track and manage emissions across their supply chain, and utilise tools and expertise that can help drive impactful results, according to the energy company.
Schneider Electric said the hub is designed to support companies’ internal sustainability reporting and disclosures aligned with the Carbon Disclosure Project, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. The company said this feature will enhance transparency and alignment with global reporting standards and frameworks.
Zeigo Hub’s analytics engine offers companies visibility into their supplier engagement, emissions trends across operations and progress being made toward their science-based climate goals, according to Schneider Electric.
The platform utilises advanced agentic artificial intelligence capabilities to boost decarbonization and drive data-driven decision-making and is the first product to be deployed in Schneider Electric’s AI-native ecosystem, per the company.
“Zeigo Hub’s agentic AI features will enhance and personalise the user onboarding experience by simplifying data entry with web scraping and uploading tools, customising participation invitations, and providing additional program oversight on behalf of corporate program sponsors,” Schneider Electric said in a July 15 release.

The French multinational, which specialises in energy management and technology, said every supplier that is invited to use Zeigo Hub will receive access to customised emission-cutting roadmaps and sustainable solutions, which will enable “concrete” reductions at scale. All participation costs for utilising the platform will be covered by the sponsoring organisation, removing cost barriers for suppliers and allowing for participation on a broad scale.
“A decarbonised supply chain is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it’s a strategic imperative,” Schneider Electric Vice President of SaaS Sustainability Solutions Laura Eve said in the release.
Zeigo Hub joins an expansive suite of sustainable solutions offered by Schneider Electric. Last September, the energy company unveiled an online regulatory compliance tool, the Building Decarbonization Calculator, aimed at helping building owners and operators calculate their carbon emissions and energy use intensity and identify potential reduction measures.
Schneider Electric also updated its cloud-based energy and sustainability data management platform EcoStruxure Resource Advisor in July 2024. At the time, the company said the platform’s upgrades would help companies comply with regulations like the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s climate-risk disclosure rule and California’s climate laws.
While the SEC has stopped defending its climate-risk rule, the California Air Resources Board, the state agency in charge of implementing the state’s climate rules, recently reiterated that the Golden State’s 2026 reporting deadlines are firm. CARB is currently in an information-gathering stage but hopes to finalise regulations for the state’s climate risk and emissions disclosure laws by the end of the year.
