Model and content creator gains LivePro badge as analysts point to live-streaming’s growing role in digital influence
Nigerian-born model and content creator Sandra Benede has been recognised as one of TikTok’s most active live streamers in 2025, strengthening her presence on the platform through frequent broadcasts and high levels of audience interaction.
TikTok recently awarded Benede the LivePro badge, which is given to creators who make consistent use of the live-streaming feature and engage strongly with viewers. She has also reached Level 44 on TikTok’s gifting system, a milestone that reflects her contributions to other creators through digital gifts.
Benede’s live sessions range from informal conversations with fans to entertainment-focused content, drawing large audiences. Several of her recent clips have recorded between 3 million and 4.7 million views, according to data cited by Pulse Nigeria.
Speaking during an Instagram Live earlier this year, Benede said: “The live feature allows me to connect with people in real time, and that’s what makes the bond with my audience stronger.”
Industry observers say her rise reflects a broader shift in how Nigerian influencers are approaching content creation. A Lagos-based media analyst noted: “Sandra’s success illustrates how creators are moving beyond short clips to build sustainable digital communities.”
A digital strategist interviewed on Pulse Tech Talk added that TikTok’s emphasis on live interaction is reshaping how online influence is measured. “The economics of live content are different. Creators like Sandra Benede are at the centre of this change,” the strategist said.
Benede, who first came to public attention through modelling and beauty pageants before expanding into fashion and digital entertainment, described her transition to live streaming as part of her adaptation to shifts in the media landscape. “Modelling gave me the platform, but live content is what keeps me connected today,” she told her followers.
Analysts suggest her trajectory is an example of how Nigerian creators are using live streaming to build lasting communities in the fast-changing digital space.
