Sabi Writers, a writing agency under Sabi Holdings, has launched the Future Builders’ Scholarship (FBS), a corporate social initiative aimed at supporting pupils in selected schools within the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Speaking during the launch, Felix Ukattah, Chief Operations Officer of Sabi Writers, said the scholarship reflects the company’s belief in education as a tool for nation-building. “Education is more than learning — it is the foundation on which we build strong communities and a better nation,” he said. “Through the Future Builders’ Scholarship, we are not just giving children access to classrooms; we are giving them access to hope and opportunity.”
The scholarship programme is part of the company’s effort to promote access to education for children in underserved communities. Through this initiative, Sabi Writers is offering financial support to cover tuition and educational materials for beneficiaries, helping to reduce the barriers many families face in keeping their children in school.
The inaugural phase of the programme has supported over 30 pupils across several schools in Alimosho. According to the organisers, this marks the beginning of a broader commitment to improving education and creating equal opportunities for young learners in Nigeria.
Sabi Writers explained that the FBS initiative is designed to promote continuity in learning by focusing on early education, where support has the most long-lasting impact. The company stated that it views this as part of its responsibility to contribute to community development and national progress.
The organisation also reaffirmed that its long-term plan is to expand the scholarship to reach more schools and students across the country, ensuring that children from low-income families are not left behind.
“With this initiative, Sabi Writers reinforces its belief that social responsibility goes hand in hand with corporate success,” Ukattah said. “By empowering young minds today, we secure a stronger and more inclusive tomorrow.”
