Sabi Writers has held the second edition of its Annual Leadership Guest Lecture Series in Lagos, bringing together its employees and key stakeholders to discuss strategies for growth and sustainability.
The event, known as The Frontline, took place on 15 August 2025 at The Zone Arena, Gbagada. It focused on the theme “Building Systems and Structures That Deliver Scalable Growth and Sustainability”.
Guest speakers included Oluyemi Oloyede, Chief Executive Officer of UAC Food Limited, and Josephine Ehimen, Chief Executive Officer of Nett Pharmacy. Both shared perspectives on building structures that support long-term business success.
Ehimen spoke on the importance of systems within organisations dominated by young professionals. She urged participants to take ownership of their work, stating, “When you do more than you are paid for, you get paid more than what you do.” She also commended Sabi Writers for the high level of coordination and involvement demonstrated by its employees throughout the programme.
Oloyede highlighted the need for clear structures in creating sustainable growth. He emphasised that businesses must focus on building models that can adapt to changing conditions while maintaining efficiency.
The lecture, which began in 2024, was designed to connect Sabi Writers’ workforce with knowledge from industry leaders and strengthen professional development. Employees expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to engage directly with business executives.
The next edition of The Frontline is scheduled for 2026, with plans to continue advancing discussions on leadership, growth, and workplace systems.
