…Clinches four awards at 2025 SISA & SERAS
Ekuma Eze, head, corporate affairs and sustainability, Rite Foods Limited, has disclosed that the firm’s culture of innovation with strong focus on its sustainability commitments sets it apart from other Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs company in Nigeria.
According to Eze, the culture is hinged on the company’s Environmental Stewardship, Youth Empowerment, Education and Community Development (EYEC) framework. He added that the company’s bold marketing campaigns and consumer-centric initiatives continue to strengthen connections with its diverse audiences.
Eze made this disclosure during the 2025 Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA) and The SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards, where Rite Foods was recognised in four major categories.

He expressed gratitude for the honour, noting that the awards reinforce the company’s mission to embed people, planet, and purpose at the heart of its business operations. “This achievement is a testament to teamwork and collaboration,” Eze stated.
Rite Foods emerged winner in the following categories: Best Health-Focused CSR Programme of the Year, Education Empowerment Champion of the Year, CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility at SISA Awards and Best in Supply Chain Management at the SERAS.
“These recognitions affirm Rite Foods’ firm commitment to advancing healthcare, improving educational outcomes through sustainability ideas, and championing sustainable initiatives that uplift communities across Nigeria,” Eze added.
Eche Munonye, publisher, CSR Reporter and organiser of the awards ceremony, presented the CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility award to Seleem Adegunwa, the managing director/ CEO, Rite Foods Limited.
He also applauded Adegunwa for his firm commitment to sustainability initiatives and meaningful social interventions that continue to uplift communities and inspire transformation across the industry.
