Ibrahim Ballo Alli Adelani, Provost of Bn Ballo College of Arts and Islamic Sciences, Ojebode, Ibadan, Oyo State, has urged Nigerians to continually invest in research, education, and community development as vital instruments for a brighter future.
Adelani, in an interview with our Correspondent who was in Ibadan with the University of Ilorin team on examination monitoring led by Yahya Oyewole Imam, Professor of Islamic Studies and Director, Centre for Affiliated Institutions, emphasised that education remains the most powerful tool for driving national transformation.
“In these challenging times, I encourage all Nigerians to continue investing in knowledge, character, and community development. Let us support our youth and believe in the potential of this great nation. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and build a brighter future,” he said.

Adelani, a seasoned educationist and scholar, said that he had made significant contributions at several international conferences and seminars on educational systems and curriculum development in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and others.
“I have dedicated the past 10 years to building academic institutions that nurture innovation, critical thinking, and leadership among students,” he stated.
Speaking about the College’s mission, Adelani noted that Bn Ballo College was established as a leading centre of excellence in higher education, committed to producing well-rounded graduates equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to thrive in a dynamic world.
“Our mission is to provide affordable, quality education rooted in academic integrity, research, and community service, while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and lifelong learning,” he explained.
On the College’s partnership with the University of Ilorin, he posited that “our collaboration with the University of Ilorin was born out of a shared commitment to academic excellence and youth empowerment.

“We recognised the university’s longstanding reputation for quality and discipline, and we believed that aligning with such a reputable institution would enhance the credibility of our programs, create opportunities for collaborative research, and expand opportunities for our students.”
Adelani noted that Bn Ballo College places a strong emphasis on character development, entrepreneurship, and hands-on learning.
