The Financial Times and data company Statista are currently looking for Africa’s fastest-growing companies, based on revenue growth between 2019-2022. BUSINESS DAY is a research partner in this project. Therefore, we encourage you to take a look at this registration form.
While the FT will publish a ranking covering top-growth companies from the whole continent, BUSINESSDAY intends to identify and publish Nigeria’s Growth Champions.
Every company which generated at least $100,000 (about N90m) in 2019 and at least $1.5 million (about N13bn) is eligible and companies which managed to generate above 8% year-over-year growth during this three-year period are encouraged to register, especially privately-held ones. Stating the obvious, registration is free of charge and entering the ranking is entirely based on merit.
In last year’s FT ranking of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies, 27 companies in the Top 100 came from Nigeria, among them the winner.
BUSINESSDAY would love to see the overall representation of Nigeria remain as strong as last year, or even stronger. For this, we need BUSINESSDAY readers’ support – to register or spread the word.
The Financial Times ranking will be published in mid-May 2024 on FT.com.
BUSINESS DAY intends to publish the ranking of Nigeria’s Growth Champions at the end of April.
The deadline for companies to register for consideration is February 15.
Filling out the registration form should not take longer than 5-10 minutes.
