The president of Successful Realtors Group, Michelle Mordi, has cautioned investors in Rivers State to avoid properties not listed on the group’s portal.
Speaking at the official opening of Successful Realtors Group’s office in Port Harcourt, Saturday, Mordi lamented over the activities of some real estate operators who disappoint their clients with unfulfilled promises, displaying a lack of integrity that presents the Rivers real estate market in bad light.
She said Successful Realtors Group was determined to change the negative narrative by rebuilding lost trust and promoting ethical standards in the Rivers real estate space with a view to restoring investor confidence in the sector.
According to Michelle Mordi, who is also the MD/CEO of Ellehousing Smart Tech and Realty Limited, the Successful Realtors portal is designed to save investors the challenge of investing in the wrong properties.
Speaking on the topic, ‘Financial Freedom through Real Estate,’ Dr Iroh Williams, an Applied Economist and Research Management professional, said knowledge of the rules of money was key to real estate success.
“Real estate wealth follows the universal laws of money,” he posited, advising people to invest wisely by leveraging on the guidance provided by platforms such as Successful Realtors Group.
Highlights of the event were the cutting of the ribbon by Emmanuel Achiliwu, a Lagos-based real estate developer, to mark the official opening of Successful Realtors Group’s Port Harcourt office and the presentation of awards to top-performing Realtors in the state.
The event was graced by industry stakeholders, including Kingsley Asaba, convener of The CEO Leadership Series.
