The House of Representatives has 360 members:
APC: 246; PDP: 71; LP- 21; NNPP-13; APGA-5; SDP- 2; ADC- 1, and YPP- 1
The Senate is made up of 109 members:
APC- 73; PDP-28; LP- 4; APGA- 2; NNPP- 1; SDP- 1

INEC’s continuous voter registration in numbers

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently released the figures of both online and physical registrations completed during Week 12 of the continuous voter registration (CVR), exercise.
The exercise, which began on August 18, 2025, is scheduled to end in August 2026.
According to INEC, as of last Sunday, about 2,3 million new voter registration were recorded.
The figures below are how the states stand:
Imo (143,386) and Kano (132,290). Sokoto recorded 123,320; Lagos, 109,693; the Federal Capital Territory, 106,855; and Borno, 106,376.
Kogi (91,573), Jigawa (88,209), Zamfara (84,268), Katsina (80,425), Kaduna (78,282), Kebbi (74,159), Delta (72,311), and Ogun (71,091). Niger recorded 69,739, Akwa Ibom 65,446, and Oyo 64,561.
Rivers registered 57,251, Benue 42,557, Bayelsa 38,627, and Bauchi 36,166. Ekiti, Gombe, and Nasarawa recorded 32,096, 31,542, and 30,348 respectively, while Ebonyi, Edo, and Plateau posted 28,310, 27,130, and 24,077. Taraba had 17,803; Enugu, 16,304; Ondo, 16,012; Cross River, 14,559; and Abia, 12,297.

Official number of citizens abducted this week

A litany of abductions and incredible figures of over 150 victims
Penultimate Friday, November 14, 2025, a Brigadier-General, M.Uba, who led a convoy of soldiers and operatives of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in Demboa, Borno State, was abducted and violently murdered by members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). Other soldiers who were also abducted were killed.
Penultimate Saturday, November 15, 2025, terrorists struck a sleepy village called Fegin Baza in Tsafe LGA, Zamfara State. About 30 people, including women and children, were abducted.
Last Monday, November 17, 2025, 25 schoolgirls were violently abducted from their dormitory at the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School Maga, Kebbi State.
The following day (Tuesday) evening, November 18, 2025, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Kwara State, was invaded while service was in session. Official figures put the number of abductees at 34, but other sources suggested many more.
Last Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Bokungi Village, Kwara State, four (4) rice farmers were abducted from their farm.
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, 15 people were abducted, including nursing mothers and their babies in Sabon Birni, Sokoto.
On Friday, November 21, 2025, Agwara Niger State was invaded by terrorists who kidnapped well over 100 pupils from St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools.
