When a Nigerian celebration happens, from weddings and concerts to birthdays and naming ceremonies, it’s rarely just an event. It’s a memory in the making. That belief is at the heart of PartyVest, a new all-in-one events app that officially launched in September 2025, aiming to make planning, attending, and remembering special occasions seamless.
Backed by PiggyVest and Zrosk, the Lagos-based startup brings together event discovery, planning, and payments under one platform. With PartyVest, users can find parties, concerts, and events within their circles, manage guest lists and RSVPs, chat in real time, and relive captured photos and videos in a shared gallery.
“In our communities, events aren’t just parties, they’re milestones,” says Francisca Edoki, Vice President of Business and Partnerships at PartyVest. “But planning them can feel overwhelming.”
The platform aims to change that by integrating tools for hosts, vendors, and guests. Through the app, users can open dedicated event accounts, track budgets, save and move funds, and even share gift wishlists. Vendors, in turn, can connect directly with clients, manage bookings, and receive payments securely.
PiggyVest, Nigeria’s leading savings and investment platform, is providing the financial infrastructure powering PartyVest’s operations.
“With our APIs, PartyVest can manage wallets, enable inflows and vendor payments with our PocketApp account numbers, and earn daily interest on balances for upcoming events,” explains Josh Chibueze, Co-founder of PiggyVest.
The app also supports promoters who want to earn by sharing and marketing events, creating a community-driven ecosystem that blends social connection with financial efficiency.
According to Edidiong Uwah, VP of Vendor Operations, PartyVest is solving a long-standing industry pain point. “Vendors are the heartbeat of every celebration, but finding clients and managing payments can be tough. PartyVest bridges that gap, helping vendors get discovered and grow their businesses with confidence.”
Another major focus area is rentals, often a source of friction in Nigeria’s booming events economy. Aisha Musa-Bawa, VP of Rental Operations, says the app makes it easier to book verified short-lets and luxury vehicles. “We’re building a safer, more reliable system for event rentals, especially during peak festive seasons,” she notes.
General Manager Mobola Awe believes the app’s launch comes at a defining moment for Nigeria’s creative and events sectors.
“As Nigeria’s events and entertainment economy continues to grow, PartyVest provides the technology backbone for a sector driven by creativity, culture, and connection,” she says. “Our goal is simple, to help people celebrate more and stress less.”
At its core, PartyVest positions itself as the digital companion for life’s special moments. The company describes its mission as creating a single platform that helps Nigerians plan, discover, and relive memorable events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Its “Memories” feature allows guests and hosts to revisit shared photos and videos long after the music stops, making every celebration easy to plan, enjoy, and remember.
PartyVest’s team, which includes veterans from events, entertainment, rentals, and partnerships, hopes to scale quickly across Nigeria’s vibrant social scene, one event at a time.
