Victor Osimhen again expressed his love and commitment to Galatasaray after scoring twice to lead his side to a 2-1 victory over Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals.
The Nigerian forward was the star man in the fierce Istanbul derby, netting in the 10th and 27th minutes to secure Galatasaray’s place in the semi-finals.
However, the heated encounter was marred by a post-match altercation involving Fenerbahçe boss José Mourinho and Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, adding further drama to the rivalry.

Osimhen, on loan from Napoli, has embraced life at Galatasaray and reaffirmed his commitment to the club, emphasising the support he has received from fans and teammates.
“As I have said in previous interviews, I have really loved this club since I came here. I love the people, the fans. I want to reciprocate their love by working hard. My teammates are also very important to me—they always support me,” Osimhen said.
“Scoring in the derby was important. If my teammates had not done very important things, I would not have been able to score those goals. I am grateful to them. I want to continue my performance and do everything I can for the team.”
Osimhen has now registered 28 goals and five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray, further solidifying his status as a key figure for the Turkish giants.
