The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced a N748 billion profit after tax and a total revenue of N5.891 trillion for the month April 2025. This is contained in the company’s monthly report.
According to the report released on Thursday, the state oil company noted that statutory payments of N4.225 trillion were made from January to March.
It showed Nigeria’s crude oil and condensate production stood at 1.6 million barrels per day (bdp) for the month of April and natural gas production was at 7,473 mmscf/d.
Petrol availability in its retail stations nationwide was 54 percent in the period, while the Upstream Pipeline availability stood at 97 percent in the period.
Data on the status of the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben Gas Pipeline project indicated that it has reached 95 percent completion while the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano Natural Gas Pipeline (AKKP) has reached 70 per cent completion.
According to the report, the company had made technical interventions on the AKK and OB3 to resolve challenges of River Niger crossings and completed Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) in April for OML 18, OML 118 and OML 133.
On the status of refineries, company indicated that the Port Harcourt Refinery, Warri Refinery and Kaduna Refinery are currently under review.
“All financial figures are provisional and unaudited. All operational and financial data are for April 2025 unless indicated otherwise,” the report stated.
NNPC listed upcoming final investment decisions (FIDs) in 2025 to include Ntokon Development (OML 102), Crude Oil Prod. Expansion Project (OML 29), Gas Development Projects (OML30, 42) and Brass Fertilizer (Financial Close).
