The Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students Alumni Fellowship (NIFESAF) of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Lagos Chapter has hosted its 5th Business and Career Expo, creating a platform for small businesses and entrepreneurs to exhibit their products and services.
The event themed “Gaining the Competitive Edge,” was held on Saturday and it underscored the importance of innovation and effective business strategies in achieving market differentiation.

Notable attendees included exhibitors like Green Project, De Luxe Flour, Conasa Solution Ventures, and Purch Gadgets; headline partners such as The VFD MFbank, Glosimi Global, and Bundle were present.
According to Iyke-Henry Nnadike, CEO of Purch Gadgets Ltd. and Chairman of the NIFESAF ESUT Lagos Chapter, the organisation’s mission involves creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, share experiences, and offer mutual support.
“The initiative has grown to include business expositions, career development sessions, job fairs, and empowerment programs. It provides entrepreneurs with opportunities to showcase their ventures and connect with potential partners,” said.

He added that High-quality products, services, and customer experiences play a critical role in maintaining a competitive edge as professionals engage with industry experts to gain insights into career development, while job seekers interact with companies to learn about employment opportunities.
Reflecting on his work with Purch Electronics, he highlighted innovations such as solar-powered fans and smart TVs, while advocating for greater support and funding for emerging entrepreneurs.
“NIFESAF’s initiatives continue to promote growth and empowerment, supporting entrepreneurs and professionals in building successful ventures and careers,” he said.
