House of Representatives member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency of Oyo State and Action Democratic Party ( ADP) Oyo South Senatorial candidate, Temitoye Olatoye Sugar is dead.
He died yesterday at the intensive care of the University College Hospital Ibadan where he was receiving treatment after he was shot in the afternoon on election day.
He was shot in the eye in Lalupon area of Lagelu Local Government and rushed to the UCH for treatment.
He was allegedly shot by thugs.
However, it was not clear those responsible for the shooting as police could not give details of the incident.
