President Muhammadu Buhari has defeated his closest opponent, PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential elections with a very wide margin in Bauchi State.
He polled 798,428 votes to defeat the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who got 209,313 votes.
President Buhari won in 19 out of 20 local government areas of Bauchi State.
Atiku won in Bogoro, the local government area where Speaker,Yakubu Dogara comes from getting 23,664 votes while Buhari got 5,284 votes.
