Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable.

Badmus Abeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been released from prison in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital.

He was released on bail to his two wives on Tuesday, having been ordered to shave his signature hairstyle, multi-colour, tinted hair, by the officials of the Oke-Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State.

An informed source hinted that his release followed the official withdrawal of the charges against him by Saheed Osupa, a fellow Musician.

Osupa was said to have been in Ilorin to effect the legal process that eventually set portable free.

An official at the Oke-Kura Custodial Centre (names withheld) told journalists that Portable was released at 3:30pm after a variation had been on his bail conditions by the Authorities.

“He took his first meal yesterday morning, since he was brought here on Monday,” the source disclosed.

Recall that Portable was arrested last Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and brought to Ilorin by operatives of the Kwara State Police Command for alleged criminal intimidation, defamation and threat to life against Saheed Osupa.
