On Tuesday, June 27, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, witnessed a Yoruba wedding.
It was an ‘owambe’ spectacle, complete with the typical merriment associated courtesy of the groom, Camden Grabill and the bride Ayo Ayoola, along with their parents — Tom and Michelle Grabill and Joke Ayoola, dean of the Calvin University School of Health, and Taiwo Bernard Ayoola, executive director of the Africa Resource Center.
Also notable among the guests were Wiebe and Joanna Boer.
