The Ondo State Ministry of Commerce, Industries and Co-operatives has announced its intention to surpass its 2018 revenue target by 400%, saying the Ministry would generate N1 billion as against N200 million target which government set for it.
Speaking on the revenue target for 2018 in Akure on Wednesday, Timehin Adelegbe, Commissioner for Commerce, Industries and Co-operatives declared that the Ministry is ambitious and aggressive to attract new investments to the State this year with a view to creating additional wealth and employment opportunities.
As a result of such an ambitious target, Adelegbe said that he had met with officials of other ministries such as the Ministry of Budget and Planning as well as other relevant ministries, departments and agencies of government working on how to meet the target.
Adelegbe, therefore urged the staff of the Ministry to work together, and provide the needed support to make this ambitious plan a reality.
