lmo police, Ikemefuna Jewish Organisation honour traffic warden

The Imo State Police Command, in collaboration with Ikemefuna Jewish Organisation, has honoured Inspector Uche Chidiebere, a Traffic Warden posted at Warehouse Junction, Owerri. The junction is always very busy and strategic at the heart of Owerri.

Uche Chidiebere, an Inspector of Police, was spotted and honoured for his dedication and professionalism in managing traffic and serving the public, despite the condition of any prevailing weather.

At a brief ceremony, the Ikemefuna Jewish Organisation, led by Chidiebere Mbelu, presented the award of a plaque and ₦500,000 cash gift to Inspector Chidiebere, and commended his integrity and hard work, urging other officers to emulate his exemplary dedication to duty.

Aboki Danjuma, commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, lauded Chidiebere’s exemplary conduct, describing it as a reflection of the ideals of the Nigeria Police Force.

The CP also emphasized that hard work, discipline, and service to the public are values that must be upheld at all times by all police personnel.

Also, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who was also in attendance, commended Chidiebere’s efforts and called for more recognition of frontline traffic managers who contribute daily to public safety.

Meanwhile, Chidiebere who was filled with joy, expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner of Police, and the Ikemefuna Jewish Organization for finding him worthy of recognition and pledged to remain committed to serving the public diligently and upholding the values of the Nigeria Police.

Consequently, the Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, rewarding excellence, and building strong community partnerships for safety.

Officers serving under the Imo Police Command have been asked to emulate Chidiebere’s dedication, while the public is urged to continue supporting security agencies for a safer Imo State.
