Taraba state governor Darius Ishaku, has charged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), serving in the state to use the natural potentials of the state to prove worth of their professional field.
Taraba state governor Darius Ishaku, stated this while presenting his speech at the swearing in ceremony of the Batch A corps members held at the camp ground Jalingo.
Represented by the commissioner for youth and sports, the governor said Taraba state has offered to corps members an ample opportunity to prove worth of their professional field to harness the natural potentials in Taraba.
He said Taraba been a natures gift to the nation, the state is bless with potentials like mineral resources that if harness, would make the teaming youth self reliance.
He noted that government was ready to support youth innovations that would have direct bearing to the people, challenged corps members to use their professional experience and harness the state potentials for the growth of youth and history purposes.
Florence Yaakugh, Taraba state NYSC coordinator appreciated Governor Ishaku for his regular supports for the flexibility of the camp activities.
Yaakugh disclosed that NYSC in the state under her watch was putting machineries in place to lunch skills acquisition and training program that would make corps members self reliance after their service period.
The coordinator who disclosed that the timely intervention and regular assistance of Taraba state government in various forms of the scheme has positioned Taraba state amongst the most corps friendly state in the nation.
