Tope Mark-Odigie, the author of ‘TRANSFORM,’ an inspirational and practical tool to rewrite personal narratives, was influenced by her desire to transfer knowledge, and deepen the reading culture in Nigeria.

“I’ve learned so much from other authors, many of them international, who took the time to document their experiences, their pain, and their growth. Their words helped shape me. But, I always wondered: Where are the Nigerian stories? Where are the stories that reflect our context, our struggles, and our unique limitations,” Mark-Odigie asked at the recent unveiling in Lagos.

According to her, the new book is about change. She disclosed that the book speaks to a deep, intentional transformation, and not just superficial improvement. She added that ‘TRANSFORM’ is about flipping the script.

“You may have grown up in struggle, but that doesn’t mean struggle is your destiny. You may have faced failure, rejection, poverty, or low self-esteem. But none of that defines you. What defines you is your willingness to change the narrative.”

According to her, every individual can change, but most importantly individuals must develop personal belief to seek transformation. “Transformation begins when you believe that where you are is not where you have to stay. You can grow. You can.”

She also revealed that her new publication offers a roadmap for people ready to step into the next version of personal branding, because the book mirrors her life as a masterclass in courage, purpose, and persistence.
