He initiated the first economic summit in 11 years which set the pace for a new economy because the interruption. He was about reviving some major economic ventures such as the Songhai Farm Initiative. He also created the much awaited one-stop-shop for investors, the Rivers State Investment Promotion Council which had harvested almost 100 proposals.
