Samson Akinola, Chief Executive Officer, FixAll Africa, has received the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity from the West African Youth Council (WAYC), the youth arm of ECOWAS.
Akinola, while accepting the honour, said, “Receiving this honour inspires us to deepen our mission to build solutions that uplift communities, foster trust, and drive social change.”
The award recognises Akinola’s leadership and social impact through FixAll Africa, a digital platform that links Nigerians to verified artisans, including plumbers, electricians, tailors, and mechanics. The platform enables access to reliable services while supporting thousands of skilled workers.
Officials from WAYC described Akinola as “living out the values of Nelson Mandela: integrity, service, and excellence.” They praised his efforts in promoting youth empowerment and providing dignified work across communities.
The recognition places Akinola among other young African leaders previously acknowledged by WAYC, including entrepreneurs and activists working to improve the lives of young people in West Africa.
