Olayemi Olamide Joy, founder of JJ Trust Finance, is leading efforts to improve how people in Nigeria approach personal finance. The firm’s mobile app, MyRiteWallet, was officially launched at a recent event attended by partners, users, and stakeholders.
At the launch event, Olamide explained that the app was created to meet users in their current financial reality. “We designed MyRiteWallet to meet users where they are,” she said. “Our goal is to make saving easy, consistent, and achievable for everyone.”
MyRiteWallet combines traditional savings group methods with digital features that allow users to set savings goals, automate contributions, and gain access to personal finance resources. It is designed to serve people at all income levels, providing simple tools that help users stay consistent with their savings.
Olamide’s journey into finance began in secondary school and grew during her university years. What started as a personal goal became a mission to support others in developing better financial habits. This mission shaped the development of MyRiteWallet, a tool aimed at those who often do not have access to formal banking.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to see how the app works. Several users shared stories about how the platform had helped them manage their money better and stay on track with their goals.
Olamide’s work highlights how local solutions can address real problems in the finance sector. By building tools tailored to user needs, JJ Trust Finance is offering new ways for people to develop financial discipline and security.
With more than four years of experience in financial planning, she has helped over 1,000 individuals reach their savings goals through structured and consistent methods.
Her company is guided by four values “RITE” – Reliability, Integrity, Transparency, and Education.
