Delta-born Esther Nmor, Glam World Beauty Queen Nigeria 2025, who got Top 10 placement at the recently concluded Miss Glam World 2025, held at Cochin, India, is set to empower more Nigerian girls and women on fight against Cervical Cancer.
To her, when empowered with the right information and resources, cervical cancer, a deadly disease, can be prevented.
Queen Esther represented Nigeria at global beauty pageant organized by the Pegasus Group of Organizations, having won the title of Miss Glam World Nigeria at the national contest held in Lagos this year by the Exquisite Queen Organization.
The international pageant was a celebration of beauty, culture and intellect where she was not only placed among the Top 10 but was honoured with the National Costume Subtitle, an award recognizing the best representation of cultural and traditional attire on the global stage.
In an interview with BusinessDay Sunday, the Beauty Queen, a native of Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State and a graduate of Sociology from the prestigious Madonna University, said she would give more life and voice to the voiceless.
“I have developed not just knowledge but a discipline and purpose-driven life, she disclosed.
“I’m extremely excited and honored by this achievement. This national costume subtitle holder accolade distinguishes me as a cultural ambassador; a representative of the Nigerian creativity advocate and my costume NWERE ONYE best describes me with grace and pride.
“‘Over the years, through my influence in the pageant world, I have been able to empower quite a number of girls and with my advocacy on cervical cancer awareness. I will inspire hopes and empower as much women and girls with both the knowledge and resources to fight the preventable disease.
“I’m currently working on a collaborative pet project on cervical cancer awareness, screenings and vaccinations.
Being a beauty queen, to me, is beyond the spark and shine but the power of womanhood, she explained.
Queen Esther, who is an entrepreneur and founder of the EU’s brand, a thriving enterprise where fashion meets influence, revealed that she has been able to empower other businesses through her influence, both as a brand ambassador and influencer.
The Beauty Queen is also a realtor, aspiring lawyer and a proud advocate for brands and women helping them shine through the power of creativity and connection.
She has won local pageants and awards such as Face of the World Nigeria Beauty Queen, Face of Zikel Ambassador and Miss Sociology an Award for Excellence beauty and brains.
While expressing satisfaction that Nigerians who go international now embrace their culture and showcase their unique attires particularly in the pageant industry, she advised Nigerians to always promote and support their own to global stage.
“For a better Delta State and Nigeria, we need to promote and support our own, especially when it comes to the global stage because that is what people automatically see and perceive about our country.
“We need to promote our national identity by organizing programs and events that forster understanding of the Nigeria culture. We need to also engange youths in peace building initiatives and empower them with opportunities and resources to contribute to national development as well.(support your own).
“I hereby appreciate the efforts made by the Nigerian Government just as I’m grateful for the assistance received from the citizens – The show of love and support was beyond my expectations. I say thank you to all who supported me in this journey, she exclaimed.”
