Coronation Insurance has been named Outstanding Insurance Company of the Decade at the Marketing Edge Awards 2025, an event that recognises leadership and innovation in Nigeria’s marketing and communications sector.

The organisers said the award reflected Coronation Insurance’s role in developing customer-focused solutions, building digital platforms, and promoting wider access to insurance across the country.

In its citation, Marketing Edge noted the company’s record of delivering reliable, technology-driven insurance services accessible to a broad range of Nigerians. The citation added that Coronation Insurance had built its reputation on customer satisfaction, service delivery and initiatives that encourage more people to take up insurance cover.

Receiving the award at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Adebowale Popoola, Head of Marketing and Communications, said the recognition belonged first to the company’s customers. “This recognition belongs first to our customers who trust us daily to protect what matters most to them. It strengthens our resolve to keep innovating and ensuring insurance remains accessible, reliable, and relevant to every Nigerian,” he said.

Popoola explained that the recognition was not only an industry milestone but also an affirmation of Coronation Insurance’s long-term vision. He pointed to the contribution of the company’s workforce, noting that the progress made was due to their efforts and commitment.

The Marketing Edge Awards are held annually by Marketing Edge Publications Limited. The awards bring together professionals in advertising, media, brand management and communications to acknowledge organisations and individuals who have advanced the sector. The 2025 edition gathered business leaders and stakeholders from across the industry. By receiving this award, Coronation Insurance restated its commitment to serving as a partner in protecting the lives and assets of individuals and businesses in Nigeria.
