Avale Africa deploys it’s COVID-19 response strategy to provide food for communities

Africa’s foremost donations facilitator, Avale Africa, deployed its COVID-19 food drive towards cushioning the challenges faced by many people during the emergency lockdown necessitated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

In  conjunction with The Bulb Africa, the corporate sponsor for the initiative, and Foodclique Support Initiative, 400 food boxes were distributed through the food drive to needing individuals in identified communities. Each food box was packed with enough dry foods to provide 15 meals per person.

In his statement, Wande Adams of The Bulb Africa established that the company is keen on giving back to its community and as a socially responsible company, the food drive is one way The Bulb Africa is giving back to the society and providing relief for people that need it at this time.

Speaking on behalf of Avale Africa, Uzo Okonkwo the Chief Operating Officer reiterated that with tech-enabled donations, Avale Africa is deliberate in its partnerships with well-meaning corporate organizations and non-profits to complement government’s efforts during and beyond the global pandemic. He also stated that the company is committed to ensuring that interventions always impact the right beneficiaries.
