The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of shortlisted candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025, invited applicants to participate in the next phase of the recruitment process.
In a statement on Sunday, the NAF announced that the names of shortlisted candidates have been uploaded on its official recruitment portal.
Those selected are to attend the DSSC 34 Selection Interview, which will take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from January 12 to February 8, 2026.
According to Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, the selection interview will be conducted in batches, in strict compliance with the schedule published on the NAF recruitment website.
The Force emphasised that candidates are required to check the portal regularly and ensure they report on the exact dates assigned to them.
It cautioned that failure to adhere to the stipulated instructions, including reporting outside an applicant’s designated interview date or time, could lead to automatic disqualification from the exercise.
The statement further advised shortlisted candidates to thoroughly familiarise themselves with all relevant information available on the recruitment portal.

“This includes guidelines for prospective officers and airmen, as well as details of the Armed Forces of Nigeria Harmonised Terms and Conditions of Service, which govern career progression, welfare and service obligations within the military”, it added.
The Nigerian Air Force reiterated that the DSSC recruitment process is guided by the principles of transparency, fairness and merit, assuring the public that only qualified and deserving candidates will be considered.
