Chief Judge of the Abuja High Court, Justice Ishaq Bello, has adjourned the trial of the spokesperson for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, due to the judge’s ill health.
At the resumed trial over his mutilation of evidence, Justice Bello said the court would be adjourning for his health issue.
The judge, who had surgery for cataract, also advised people who had attained the age of 45 to always visit their optometrists for check ups.
The matter was subsequently adjourned to May 26, 2016 for continuation of trial.
Metuh is standing trial for allegedly destroying Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) evidence against him.
