Iconic broadcaster Frank Edoho has been announced as the official host of the 2025 Masters of Industry (MOI) Awards, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event, convened by Business Elites Africa, marks the first time the global African awards banquet will be held in Nigeria. Co-hosting alongside Edoho will be brand influencer Tomike Adeoye, who is expected to bring additional energy to the evening.
The MOI Awards, themed “Trailblazers of a Rising Continent”, will feature 18 competitive categories and one special honorary award. It aims to recognise exceptional performance across finance, energy, FMCG, technology, entertainment, and governance. Confirmed honorary awardees include Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.
After two successful editions in Jacksonville, Florida, the awards are returning to Africa to continue celebrating individuals and organisations shaping the continent’s business and leadership landscape. The event is designed to foster collaboration among native African and diaspora entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors.
“I’m excited to host this elite event, and I look forward to giving guests an exhilarating experience,” Edoho said. “It’s the biggest stage in business, so I encourage CEOs and founders to be in the room.”
Adding to the event’s global dimension, the keynote address will be delivered by Wyman Winbush, a former IBM programme manager, U.S. Navy veteran, and global mentor known as “The Wisdom Broker”. Winbush is expected to share insights on execution, innovation, and leadership.
According to Ethelbert Nwanegbo, founder of the MOI Awards, the platform was created to celebrate achievement and drive progress. “We created this platform to celebrate brilliance, not for fame, but to reward impact,” he said. “If you build, invest, or lead in Africa, November 29 is your night.”
The event will feature a high-level networking session, award presentations, live entertainment, a red-carpet reception, an opening cocktail, and strategic introductions among senior executives. It will also include keynote addresses and extensive media coverage.
