Millennial Hangout: Olamma Foundation Commemorates World Mental Health Day
To commemorate World mental health day, which is October 10th 2019, Olamma Cares Foundation partnered with BusinessDay, Unbroken LLC, Cedarhive incubator, coworking space to host Mental Health and Millennials Hangout which took place on Friday, 18th October 2019 at Cedarhive.
Mental Health and Millennials is an exclusive event that unites millennials from around Nigeria with the goal of learning, experiencing and practising tools that assist the young generation on the path to self-actualisation, wellbeing, happiness and living a fulfilled life.
The highlight for the event included a private screening of the mental health movie ‘UNBREAKABLE with a short speech after the movie given by the movie producer Ms Buky Campbell, panel discussions ranged from social media and mental health, diagnosis, stigma and discrimination, men and mental health, religion and mental health and so much more.
The panelists included Odenike an actor, writer and film maker, Lovelyn Tijesunmi-israel; ADHD Model and Fashion Designer, Atuonwu Adanna; Mental Health Advocate, Ezinne Ogwumah; Creative Writer and Author, Sandra Anyahaebi; Psychologist, Dare Asobele; Founder ASADS (Anti Suicide and Depression Squad), Amaka Asiegbunam; Founder Unveil Mental Health Awareness Platform, the event was Facilitated by Chioma Nwosu; Founder Olamma Cares Foundation.
