Senator Jummai Alhassan, a former Minister of Women Affairs in the Buhari administration popularly known as Mama Taraba, is preparing to undergo a knee replacement surgery.
The governorship candidate of the United Demoractic Party (UDP), in the just concluded election has urged friends and well-wishers to pray for her, even as she gets set for the procedure.
Mama Taraba made the call via her official Twitter page, @SenAishaAlhassn.
“Ready for the theatre for a knee replacement surgery, pls pray for me. Allah Ya kaddara saduwanmu, Amin,” she tweeted.
She, however, did not disclose where she would be undergoing the surgical operation.
