As MakeUp in Paris celebrated its 15th anniversary on June 18–19, 2025, the global beauty community experienced a long-overdue spotlight on African Beauty.
This year’s edition features an exclusive African Beauty Animation, a celebration of culture, creativity, and innovation. The activation brings together top-tier African beauty brands in makeup, skincare, and haircare to share their stories, showcase their products, and redefine what global beauty looks like.
At the centre of this landmark collaboration is Omolola Faleye, Founder and CEO of The Makeup Fair Series (TMUFS), West Africa’s leading beauty tradeshow platform.

With over 20 years of experience, Omolola has played a defining role in the African beauty landscape, creating inclusive platforms that elevate local talent and give voice to African beauty entrepreneurs.
In addition to leading a community showcase, Omolola will moderate a high-level panel session titled:
“The Rise of African Beauty Brands: Trends, Challenges, and Global Influence”—featuring four trailblazing founders from across the continent. TMUFS will also co-host a must-attend workshop in the Beauty Agora with the Topic: African Beauty – Building a Beauty Brand.
To build momentum ahead of the event, TMUFS hosted a Pre-Departure Brunch on Thursday, June 12, in Lagos.
The intimate gathering brought together beauty founders, creatives, and community leaders for an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and celebration. It was a moment to reflect on the industry’s journey and prepare to take African beauty to the world stage.

“This partnership is a tribute to everything we’ve built together in Africa’s beauty space,” said Omolola. “It’s not just about visibility, it’s about validation, legacy, and global relevance.”
As MakeUp in Paris celebrates 15 years of innovation and influence, African beauty is not just being included, it’s being honoured. And TMUFS is proudly leading that charge.
