Leadway, in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), recently hosted a financial literacy activation at the Lagos NYSC Orientation Camp, engaging over 2,000 corps members.
The initiative, executed by Catch and Splash (an experiential agency under The Hook), blended financial education with interactive experiences. From thought-provoking talks to engaging activities like Jenga, Spin the Wheel, Hunt and Win, and a camel stunt that became a major talking point across the camp, corps members were introduced to practical lessons on financial discipline and the benefits of starting plans early.
Speaking on the motivation behind the campaign, Oluwakemi Lasisi, Lead at Catch and Splash, said: “This activation was more than just a campaign; it was about reshaping perceptions and helping young people understand that financial empowerment starts now. By catching them young, we’re helping them make smarter choices for tomorrow.”
Toheeb Dele Balogun, Director of Creativity at Catch and Splash, added: “Our goal was to ensure that every touchpoint, whether through games, stunts, or conversations carried a clear financial lesson. We wanted corps members to leave not just entertained, but empowered with knowledge they can use immediately.”
The program reflected Leadway’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians with the knowledge and tools they need to secure their financial futures. By making learning fun and interactive, the company reinforced its role as a partner in helping the next generation make informed decisions as they begin their careers.
