Chris Christian, founder and shepherd of the Locust Army International Church, has declared that Nigeria’s destiny lies in the hands of entrepreneurs rather than politicians.

Christian, argued that while entrepreneurs create real value that propel the economy forward, many Nigerian politicians focus instead on diverting and misappropriating public funds, creating more problems for the country.

The Cleric said this at a three-day programme in Abuja at the weekend themed “The Manifest Power of the Ancient Lion King”, which also marked the inauguration of the church’s arm in Apo, led by Reverend Victor Mark.

According to him, political positions do not guarantee lasting relevance, but it is the substance and vision a person carries that define their impact. He said many leaders lose significance once they leave office, pointing out that years in power cannot prevent an eventual exit.

Christian suggested that some politicians, including Senators and even the President, would ultimately return to ordinary status once their tenure ends.

“The destiny of Nigeria is not in the hands of politicians. Politicians are part of the problem. The destiny of Nigeria is in the hands of entrepreneurs, those with the light to create wealth, not those who steal money. That is why, when they leave office, they disappear. The office does not make a men relevant; the light in his life does.

“They go into Aso Rock and steal money. No matter how long you stay there, you will come out. There are so many senators who have become ordinary men after leaving office. With respect to President Tinubu, has he become more than who he already was? Even if he stays longer in Aso Rock, he will eventually step down”, he added.

Christian stressed that a person’s ultimate purpose is shaped by economic contributions rather than political influence. “The ultimate destiny of man is not political; it is economic. God is looking for men and women with enough light to take the lead, and I am here for them”, he said.

He further revealed that he has a divine mandate to raise the first 1,000 richest men in Nigeria ans Africa insisting that their wealth will surpass that of the current top earners.
