Creative media entrepreneur and brand strategist Lynda Aguocha, founder of the storytelling platform LivewithLynda and host of the culture-defining podcast CreativiTEA, has been awarded Podcaster of the Year at the 2025 Eko Heritage Awards.
The award, according to a statement, recognizes Lynda’s outstanding contribution to storytelling, branding, and culture through CreativiTEA – a podcast that, since its debut just last year, has quickly earned its place among Nigeria’s leading platforms for authentic creative dialogue.
Hosted under the LivewithLynda umbrella, CreativiTEA has featured some of Nigeria’s most influential creatives and public figures including Nancy Isime, Basketmouth, Hilda Baci, Veekee James, Brainjotter, and more – all sharing the raw, real, and refreshing stories behind their craft and careers.
“This win isn’t just about me,” Lynda shared. “It’s about creating space for real stories – the kind that leave people feeling seen, heard, and inspired”, she said in the statement.
Known for blending deep conversations with pop culture wit, Lynda doesn’t just interview – she curates insight. From solo monologues to unfiltered group chats, CreativiTEA is where culture meets clarity – where creatives come to be celebrated, and listeners leave empowered.
In addition to her work as a host and founder, Lynda is also the Head of Advertising and PR at Aspira Nigeria Ltd., makers of Viva Detergent, one of Nigeria’s foremost household brands. Her dual role in corporate leadership and cultural media gives her a rare edge – making her a force at the intersection of branding, creativity, and storytelling.
“Lynda didn’t just launch a podcast,” said Hakeem Olatunji, executive producer of CreativiTEA, according to the statment. “She created a movement. Winning this award validates the impact we’ve seen firsthand – an entire generation feeling empowered to dream louder and live bolder.”
The statement further said that LivewithLynda has since evolved into a full-fledged content ecosystem – housing brand campaigns, original documentaries, live shows, and creative strategy for culturally-relevant storytelling. From podcast to platform, Lynda’s journey bridges storytelling and strategy across industries. Lynda is building something bigger than content: a creative movement.
