The sad incident had occurred four months ago at Army Day Secondary School in Effurun, leading to the demise of six children and the hospitalization of three others.

A tanker conveying gas on Thursday exploded in the Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial hub, reportedly leaving several people injured, vehicles destroyed, and property burnt.

Nosa Okunbor, spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), who confirmed the incident, urged Lagosians to stay calm as the agency’s Response Team was at Cele Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga.
