Owners of property totally or partially demolished to pave way for the construction of Pen Cinema flyover at the Agege roundabout, can look to a relief within the next month.

The state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode says all compensations on the property affected by the new development will be paid in four weeks’ time.

Ambode gave the assurance while addressing constituents of the Lagos West Senatorial District, at the first town hall meeting this year, (10th  in the series), held at the Blue Roof premises of the Lagos Television, Thursday, in Ikeja.

Ambode also assured that compensation on other property affected by infrastructure development, across the state, including those in Ikorodu, will also be paid.

The state government last week directed persons and landlords affected by the Pen Cinema flyover to tender their relevant documents.

Among the documents government expects the affected landlords to submit are Certified Registered Title of property within the right of way, approved Building Plan Permit for the affected structures and any other relevant documents as proof of ownership.
