Results in the Edo State governorship election have started coming in trickles with the National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie- Oyegun losing his unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Unconfirmed reports had it that Oyegun who voted at the Staff Training Centre, a stone throw from his residence lost to his the main opposition party in the election,
It is on record that the national chairman of APC had never won his unit since the political dispensation in 1999.
BusinessDay also gathered that Aishetu Oshiomhole, the mother of the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole could not vote because of the alleged lost of her Permanent Voters Card.
The governor’s mother who was at the Iyamho primary school for the electoral purpose in an interview with newsmen said she lost her PVC when she underwent medical treatment.
