President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
The presidential jet landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Tuesday evening. He was received by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, along with other top government officials in the state.

The presidency had earlier on Monday announced that Tinubu will arrive in Lagos on Tuesday for the ECOWAS event. The president will also commission the first section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway on Saturday.

Tinubu will celebrate Eid el Kabir in Lagos on June 6, 2025, before returning to the Federal Capital Territory.
