JAMB slashes cut off marks for admission
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has announced a reduction to 180 of the admission cut-off score for degree programmes.
It also cut to 150, the score required by applicants for national certificate in education, national diploma and national innovation diplomas.
The cut-off for degree programs were hitherto 200 while for the latter is between 160 and 170
The permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, McJohn Nwaoibala, announced the cut off after a vote by representatives of all institutions requiring JAMB scores at a combined policy meeting in the Abuja office of JAMB.
