I know it sounds cliché to say the festive period is about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, but the truth is, that is what it is about. Though Christmas is gone, the aura of festivity is still lurking as we have gradually began to count days in 2014 already…whao! How time flies… what I love about festive periods is the thought in the minds of many to give. Giving should be a daily thing but if it takes a festive period to remind ourselves of the need to give then I am glad it is fulfilling its purpose. God gave us His son, His best, so in giving, we must give our best.  The end of 2013 was a time for all to reflect over how the year had been, lessons learnt and future projections.  2014 has a lot in store and by God’s grace, AD Consulting and Awesome Treasures Foundation have both been positioned to raise the bar in all we stand for. Personally, I have goals to achieve and though to God’s glory, a lot was achieved last year, 2014  will surely be better. I wish everyone success in every area of life and pray for you for grace to achieve all set goals for 2014! Go ahead and fulfil destiny, you were created for excellence!

Don’t we all love the festive season? Truth is that last year was challenging for a lot of people but if we look back, we can truly say we have something to thank God for, especially life! A lot  happened last year that might have caused one to be unhappy, especially the early child marriage issue that I still can’t imagine someone promoting… the thought of it alone is upsetting, but like I said, there are other things to thank God for. The festive period is a season of love, giving and reaching out to the less privileged in the society. No matter how busy you claimed to be in 2013, at least during this  period, make it a time to reach out and show love to someone who least expects it.  2014 is definitely going to be great I know. I have projections and plans and I believe strongly that they will all materialise by God’s grace. I am optimistic about this nation and I refuse to lose hope. 2014 will bring us blessings and  our lives will be better for it. Happy New Year to you all.

As a child growing up, I remember I always looked forward to Christmas and New Year. There is just something fascinating about the season. The lights, the decorations, and of course, the popular ‘Christmas dress’… as an adult now, some of those things may not mean much but the aura of the season is constant till date. Things are more expensive now but everyone always finds a way to enjoy the season with what they have, no matter how little. We all know how to ‘cut our coat according to our pocket’… I am lexcited about the New Year and I am very expectant. Time waits for no one, so I have my plans for this year laid out already. Planning for me is very important because when you fail to plan, you are planning to fail. I wish everyone a fantastic 2014 and I pray that everything you couldn’t achieve in 2013 due to one cogent reason or the other, you will achieve in 2014 by God’s grace. Amen!
