Did you know that the condition of one’s hair is an indicator of one’s general health? Many Nigerians are dealing with emotional stress from hair loss albeit silently. Regrettably, they have access mostly to hairstyling solutions with little knowledge of what trichology offers.
Trichology is the scientific study of hair, scalp disorders, and diseases. A Trichologist is someone you may wish to consult to do a complete examination of your hair and scalp and come up with a treatment plan based on their findings.
Specialists working in this field help people with issues such as hair loss, hair breakage, oily scalp, and scalp psoriasis. Some Trichologists can also treat problems related to conditions like alopecia and trichotillomania, or hair-pulling disorder.
Trichologists examine the hair and scalp to diagnose and recommend treatment for your condition and its severity.
