Interswitch, one of Africa’s foremost integrated payments and digital commerce companies, has recently hosted the developer community at its Innovation Hub in Lagos.
The event tagged ‘Coded Meetup’ is aimed at strengthening the developer community, and it was organised through the Interswitch Developer Community, which provided a platform for developers, engineers, and tech enthusiasts from across Africa to connect, collaborate, and exchange crucial industry knowledge.
“At Interswitch, we have always believed that Africans should solve Africa’s problems, because no one understands the nuances, challenges, and opportunities of our continent better than we do,” Muyiwa Asagba, managing director, commercial inclusion at Interswitch Inclusio, said.
But solving these problems requires more than just talent; it takes the right motivation, mentorship, and community, he stated.
Asagba further emphasised that the Interswitch Developer Community was created specifically to empower developers with the right skills, knowledge, and connections needed to build impactful solutions. “When we invest in people, we invest in Africa’s future,” he stated.
