Inter Milan have reportedly reopened fresh negotiations with Atalanta for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman after talks stalled for nearly two weeks.
According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are set to resume discussions, having never abandoned their pursuit of the 27-year-old despite Atalanta rejecting a €45 million bid in late July.

Lookman has already agreed to personal terms with Inter and is pushing for the move, refusing to return to Bergamo for pre-season. The Nigerian international is currently in London awaiting an agreement between the clubs.
Atalanta remain firm on their valuation, reportedly demanding between €50m and €55m for the former Leicester City man. Lookman’s agents are expected back in Italy to help Inter break the deadlock before the transfer deadline.
A driving factor in Inter’s renewed push is Lookman’s determination to join the San Siro outfit. He has been trying to force his exit from Atalanta for weeks and is unwilling to return until a deal is reached.
